1. General Information

This Privacy Policy outlines how SpeedRunes GP (speedrunes.com) collects, processes, and protects player data. We respect your privacy and comply with applicable consumer privacy laws including CCPA and GDPR.

2. Information Collected

We collect only minimal information necessary for tournament gameplay and fraud prevention: Driver email address (for secure authentication), game telemetry (timestamped inputs and deterministic move sequences for biometric anti-cheat verification), and ad impression counters.

3. Google AdSense & Cookies

Our website utilizes Google AdSense and verified programmatic advertising partners who may set cookies (including the Google DART cookie) to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites across the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.

4. Consumer Rights & Contact

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. For requests, please contact our privacy team at: support@speedrunes.com.

1. Contest Nature (Skill-Based, No Purchase Necessary)

SpeedRunes GP is a 100% skill-based puzzle competition (Dominant Factor Test). Participation is completely free ("No Purchase Necessary"). The cash prize pool is fully sponsored and funded by advertiser impressions.

2. Determinism & Equal Playing Field

Every driver competes on an identical 8x8 grid generated from the same 64-bit pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) seed. Game results are deterministically verified on our edge server by replaying the move telemetry stream. Botting or automated macros are strictly prohibited.

3. Prize Disbursement & Eligibility

Upon reaching the community views goal, the Grand Prix Final unlocks. Podium winners (P1, P2, P3) receive declared cash awards via digital payouts (Tremendous Gift Cards, PayPal, Direct Transfer). Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
